We want to make it clear how and when we are working with brands. We will always disclose if we have been paid, sponsored, gifted or invited by a brand or service with the agreement of some kind of control over a post, blog or vlog on George & Dan or Cruise Escapes. This may be the inclusion of particular hashtags or an sponsor video in a vlog.

The Advertising Standards Authority requires that we use 'AD' where there is any affiliate marketing.

AD [PRESS TRIP] - a brand or agency has invited us to attend an event, location or trip. This could be a press launch or press trip and there will be an expectation of coverage.

AD [SPONSORED] - a vlog may be sponsored in whole or part by a company with the vlog containing a small placement from the brand. We will mark these on YouTube as 'Includes paid promotion'.

AD [AFFILIATE LINK] - we may sometimes include a link to an external product/service which results in us earning a small commission if you click the link/shop via the link.

AD [PR sample/product] - a brand has sent us a product to be featured however there is no payment for a post, blog or vlog.
