First we have the magnificent Iona. This was a tough one to fit everything into 15 minutes but we think we managed! At 185,000 gross tons and 345 meters in length, Iona is the largest ship ever built for the UK market along with its sister Arvia. The ship boasts 17 decks and can accommodate up to 5,200 passengers, offering a variety of stateroom options from cozy interior cabins to spacious suites with balconies.
One of Iona's most notable features is the SkyDome, a stunning glass-roofed space that spans three decks and offers panoramic views of the surrounding ocean. This unique venue hosts an array of entertainment options, from live music and theatrical performances to films and sporting events. The ship also features a wide range of dining options, including specialty restaurants like The Keel and Cow gastropub and The Glass House wine bar. We also recently embarked on a 4-night cruise to Amsterdam aboard P&O Cruises' Aurora. Compared to the larger and more modern ship, Iona, Aurora presented a distinctive experience with its classic atrium design and staggered aft decks.
