Welcome to our spontaneous vlog as we journey to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, at the foot of Ben Nevis by Sleeper Train! We begun our trip at London Euston having a brief refreshment before boarding our Classic Room onboard the train.
There are multiple ticket types available for the journey including: Seated Carriage, Classing Twin Room (which we had to begin with), Accessible Room with wheelchair access, Club Twin which has an en-suite toilet and shower (which we got upgraded to) and Club Double, which is similar to the accessible with the addition of an en-suite toilet and shower.
When we left Euston, we decided to wonder to the lounge car to have a bite to eat, and we were both pleasantly surprised with the amazing food that there was to offer onboard. After our meal we headed back to our room to get some well needed sleep. We both managed to sleep for four or five hours and by the time we awoke, we were high up in the Scottish mountains in a much smaller train that had divided over night! It really is an amazing experience, and something we truly recommend doing if you are looking for a more relaxing way to visit Scotland.
We will most likely be doing this again in the future, but preferably in the Summer when you can male the most of the epic views you would be able to see from the room onboard as the sun rises over the mountains! When we arrived into Fort William, we popped for some breakfast in Morrisons then took a slow, rainy walk to the Travelodge where we were staying for the night.
